University of Debrecen Technology Transfer Office (UD TTO) was set up within the frames of Genomnanotech University Knowledge Centre. UD TTO – in addition to the management of the research results of Genomnanotech University Knowledge Centre – undertakes the utilization of R&D results and technologies developed at University of Debrecen. As a non-profit transfer organization, UD TTO attempts to play a mediator role between universities (research institutions), companies and investors. UD TTO owns the appropriate infrastructure, expert pool and network in order to be able to function as a “sales department” of the university. The Office deals with following portfolio sales activities from the beginning of 2007:

investment portfolio (mainly projects of university spin-offs)

licensing-out (patent portfolio)

selling innovative services (service portfolio)

selling innovative products (product portfolio)
